Square Bird is a fun side-scrolling game that you can play via any web browser. In this game, you have to get the chicken to the barn safely. However, on the way, your bird will face several obstacles and will have to frequently lay eggs to jump over platforms. While the premise of the game sounds simple enough, the game requires you to be careful and pay attention to the region, or else your bird may never make it home.
What is the gameplay of Square Bird?
The popular side-scrolling game begins in a beautiful countryside filled with hills, trees, and other landscape features. All of these combined make it tough for the bird to reach the barn as it can collide anywhere. It’s your goal to get the chicken safely from its current location to the barn.
To do this, you must move the chicken from one path to another. If the platform is too high, you can tap the bird so it lays eggs and rises from the ground. You can then lift the bird safely. Keep in mind that the bird should only lay eggs that are an exact match to the platform coming up on the screen. This way, it will be able to continue moving forward without colliding with the obstacle.
Square Bird features several levels, each with an increasing level of difficulty. The browser game also comes with an Endless gameplay mode that allows you to play the game as long as you want. You can toggle between the two with just a click of a button. Apart from this, the game lets you collect coins that can unlock different backgrounds, new birds, and bullets for attacks.
